Many of the great achievements of the world were accomplished by tired and discouraged men who kept on working.
I like these famous verses in Hindi (I first came to know of them from my good friend Shabnam Sultan)
Tundiye mukhalif se na ghabra ai aqab, Yeh toh aata hai tujhe aur uncha udane ke liye.
which literally means in English:
Oh Bird! Don't be afraid of the wind blowing against you, as it comes only to take you to much higher levels.
Girte hain sha sawar hi maida-e-jung mein; woh tifl kya giren jo ghuton ke bal chalen.
which means:
In a battle field those who fight riding on the horses have a chance of falling down, but how can there be a chance for those cowards to fall who only walk on their knees with the fear of failure.
If you never failed, you never lived
Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
